About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to join the Medical and Specialist Clinics team on a full time or part time basis.

The General Practitioner will work as part of a unique and exciting health initiative, the Trans and Gender Diverse in Community Health (TGDiCH) program, providing primary care and community-specific care in:

  • Hormone management including initiation to gender affirming Hormone Therapy
  • Preventative health care and chronic disease management
  • Primary care
  • Sexual health

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Fellowship with RACGP or RACP (Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine)
  • Experience in primary care and/or sexual health medical services
  • An understanding of the TGDNB community in a trauma-informed framework
