Brighton Doctors Surgery is a well-respected medical practice in a DPA location which has been providing high quality care to the local community for over 30 years. Based in a modern and purpose-built medical centre that houses pathology, psychology and a dietician, the friendly and supportive administration and nursing staff ensure a family, community focused feel.
Located 25 minutes’ drive North of Hobart CBD, Brighton is close to incredible rural properties and the charming, historical town of Richmond, so for GPs seeking a rural or small-town lifestyle whilst still close to a capital city this could be an ideal fit. The suburb of Old Beach, which is only 10 minutes from the practice was listed as one of Regional Tasmania’s top 5 areas to invest in 2022, so there are excellent property options in all directions.
Currently there are opportunities for GPs to join this mixed billing practice and play a key role in shaping its future and continuing its longstanding connection with the community. With strong links to local groups and organisations such as Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, Brighton Doctors Surgery strives to continually develop alongside this growing suburb.
As part of the Better Medical group, who passionately believe that primary care needs to be locally focused, with practices being locally managed and centrally supported, you will have access to clinical support from our national Clinical Advisory Board around areas including systems, processes, education and clinical governance.
Additionally, we provide our doctors with professional development opportunities, the potential of clinical leadership and training positions, involvement in a broad and high-quality clinical group and leading technological innovation.
