Duties/Abilities

Central West Hospital and Health Service are recruiting to the role of Senior Medical Officer (Advanced Skill Obstetrics) at the Longreach Hospital.  We are seeking self-motivated and reliable team members to work as part of our medical services team at Longreach Hospital.  Depending on the applicant’s skills and scope we may can accommodate permanent, temporary, or casual engagements.

At Central West health our Senior Medical Officers are well remunerated and supported by our close-knit team of multidisciplinary health professionals to help new and expectant mothers achieve their birthing goals.  Our model of care means that our Senior Medical Officers practice at local hospitals (and multi-purpose health services), family general practices and primary health clinics including telehealth consultations.
