Sonic HealthPlus Melbourne has an opportunity available for a medical practitioner to join our private billing clinic full-time or part time basis.

Our services are comprehensive and wide ranging to assist all types of patients Corporate Health Medicals, Rail Medicals, Travel Medicine & General Practice.

Onsite services include a psychologist and exercise physiologist with modern consult rooms, four screener rooms, a gym room, and an Executive health room, two treatment rooms and two allied health rooms for Psychologist and Psychiatrist.

Our centre is located directly across from Parliament Train Station, on Spring Street, a short distance from Parliament House and Fitzroy Gardens, walking distance to the QV Shopping Centre and Bourke Street Mall.  And all the restaurants, bars, theatres and Tourist attractions Melbourne has to offer.

This role will provide exposure to all aspects of general practice and occupational health medicine, including:

  • Family Medicine  
  • Men's & Women's health
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Occupational health assessments
  • Specialised work medicals
  • Acute injury treatment and management
  • Injury prevention
  • Travel medicine
  • Skin screening
  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Immunisations
  • Spirometry
  • Audiograms

GPs will be provided with: 

  • Private billing clinic services
  • Excellent facilities and clinical support
  • A friendly and focused multi-disciplinary team 
  • Support from operations, administration, property and IT teams

Requirements:

  • Full Registration with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate training and experience in general practice
  • Eligibility to access Medicare
  • A caring and quality driven commitment to providing general practitioner health services.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners (FRACGP) is desirable
