First Ave Family Practice is a well established, accredited, practice looking for a VR GP with an interest in building a long term client base and possible future associateship.

The GP who works here will have an interest in  being part of a  cohesive , respectful team of doctors who have a genuine interest in comprehensive , long term patient care .

First Ave Family Practice is owned and run by a GP who had  been there for over 30 years and you will be working alongside at least 7 other GPs, a nurse, dietitian,and psychologist . There is on site pathology collection . 

The practice is in the inner west of Sydney in the Canada Bay LGA close to The Bay Run . 

The surgery has a well established client base and good local reputation  for quality care across all age ranges .

 Five Dock has traditional connections with a large Italian community , wonderful delicatessens , coffee shops and restaurants and growing and changing demographic with considerable ethnic and economic diversity . 

Flexible hours can be negotiated .6+ sessions over 3-5 days would be available . 

We are a teaching practice for University of Sydney University medical students and  a long standing  GP Synergy training practice . 

First Ave Family Practice is a mixed billing practice.  Contracting Drs service fee is  38 % of billings.

A 3 month initial retainer can be negotiated . 

We use Zedmed software.

GPs at the practice work a shared Saturday morning roster (9-11am)
