Cabarita is a booming coastal village in northern NSW. Our non corporate family practice services clients from Pottsville in the south to Tweed Heads in the north and west to Murwillumbah. Only 20 mins to the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, Cabarita offers you the best of both worlds.

Amongst the many features of this region are several large tidal creeks, remote beaches and Mt Warning with its spectacular views and walking tracks. Cabarita beach is a world renowned surfing location, hosting numerous competitions throughout the year.

The new Kingscliff Hospital which is due to be commissioned in 2023 is a short drive away. Services will include, interventional cardiology, radiotherapy, an integrated cancer care service, additional outpatient clinics, expanded emergency department and enhanced medical, surgical and mental health services. 

The Profile

• Non corporate established family practice located in the heart of town.
• We currently have 2 GPs, 2 nurses and 2 receptionists all of whom work part time.  All staff are highly qualified, professional and friendly.  
• A psychologist who works onsite.
• Pharmacy and pathology nearby.
• Suitable for a GP looking for work and lifestyle balance all the time poised for greater opportunity when the hospital becomes established.
• Flexible hours to suit a successful candidate
• For the first 3 months you will be paid an hourly rate $165 and thereafter a billings percentage.   
• A diverse range of general presentations and the opportunity to work in your areas of special interests such as Skin Checks, Chronic Disease Management, Preventative Health, Women’s Health, Medicals, Occupational Health, Indigenous Health and so on. 
• Increased turnover during holiday periods.
• Must have current AHPRA registration
• Mixed Billing practice
• Established client base
