Baxter Park Medical Centre is located at the junction of two busy roads at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula and is co-located with fast food outlets and a Chemist Warehouse.

We opened in mid-2017 and have had strong growth and our books are full. We believe there is excellent scope for doctors to develop a thriving practice and we continue to attract 80 new patients a month. Hours are flexible and family-friendly. 

New doctors are offered a 3-month base retainer at $150/hr.

Our point of differentiation is that we are a young, modern clinic that provides high quality affordable care. Patients love our premium environment and convenience. We believe bulk-billing does not have to be synonymous with poor quality care. Doctors are free to choose their appointment lengths and if a doctor chooses to charge a fee, they have full autonomy to do so. Being a progressive clinic, we are heavily involved in data-driven patient care. This ensures we provide a quality product to our patients and facilitates our doctors in driving their earnings. We do not condone “churning” of patients and believe with good planning and patient education, doctors can practice efficiently with a good income and job satisfaction.

Our patient base is excellent with younger families and some tree-changer older folk. All very respectful and a delightful. We draw families from as far as Mornington, Mt Eliza, Frankston South, Langwarrin and Baxter. As a sign of our quality, we have patients who have moved to the country or the western suburbs continue to attend the practice.

Our ideal doctor is looking for an opportunity to establish their practice and develop a long-term relationship with the local community.
