GP required in a waterfront suburb on the central coast, Point Clare. Flexible work hours, full books and variety in medicine. We will cover relocations costs, offer a rental or mortgage subsidy and will pay for your surfing lessons.
We are looking for a GP(s) full-time or part-time to replace retiring doctors (must be VR). Join our compassionate and dynamic professional family medicine team and walk straight into a full appointment book. We can offer a great mix of work; babies to geriatrics, antenatal, nursing home and skin cancer.
We are a really supportive team of 7 GPs (5FTE), who work together in a GP owned (non-corporate) accredited practice. We routinely host in-house teaching sessions, and stay up to date with new medical issues. Our practice currently employs 1 ½ GP registrars. We have 3 excellent practice nurses, a well-stocked treatment room and are delivering COVID-19 vaccinations to our community. We have a part-time psychologist on site as well as physiotherapy and work closely with a podiatrist and an exercise physiologist just up the road. Pathology collection is on site. We are open business hrs M-F, late Thursday nights and Saturday mornings, and can be flexible with working hours.
Everyone at the practice is on the same remuneration of 65% of billings. We are a mixed billing practice with reduced fees for Pensioners and HCC. As a new member to our practice and community we will help you with relocation costs and rental subsidy for the first 3 months while you get settled.
Point Clare is on the trainline (and our practice is located across from the station) and just over 1 hr from Central Sydney. Commuting from Sydney is an option, however, I strongly recommend making the move to the Central Coast as we have beautiful beaches and some wonderful waterways and National Parks to explore. We are also only 40min from Wahroonga via the M1. There is a great primary school in Point Clare and there are lots of quality high schools nearby including a public selective school; Gosford High School and many private schools, both independent and Christian.
SURFING LESSONS: to help you acclimatise to this wonderful lifestyle on the central coast we will happily finance surfing lessons at any of our wonderful surfing beaches.
