Duties/Abilities
Senior Medical Officers are engaged to provide person-centred care to residents and visitors to the Central West in hospitals, multi-purpose health services, family general practices and primary health clinics.
The role provides general practice, emergency and inpatient services, and leadership in the management of chronic disease and promotion of health lifestyles.
A truly collegial network will support you through clinical and corporate responsibilities and you will work without supervision in a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will commit to patient safety, the ongoing development of clinical knowledge and skills, and the supervision and training of junior doctors and students.
