Female PT & FT VR GP | Flexible working | Ongoing support and Education | Brisbane CBD clinic

We are looking for an unrestricted, female VR GP who would be interested in working at least 2 full days per week, but we can offer as many as 5 days. There is a possibility, only if interested, of some weekend work also, which attracts higher fees than weekday consultations. 

We would love to find a GP who is interested in seeing a mix of general patients, ranging from corporate city workers and overseas students to babies and older generations. We would also prefer this GP to have experience (ideally) and/or an interest in performing occupational medicals for our clients who need pre-employment assessments done for their staff, but this is not mandatory. Implanon and/or Mirena training would also be an advantage but not essential. There will also be the opportunity to learn travel medicine if interested, as our Owner GP is one of the founding members of Travel Clinics Australia.

Start time is ideally in June, but specific date and payment terms are negotiable.

Our practice has been situated in the heart of the Brisbane CBD for 34 years and we offer a vast range of services, including general practice, occupational health, travel medicine, skin cancer medicine and Japanese interpreters. It is a non-corporate, GP-owned, mixed billing clinic. The centre is GPA accredited and we use MD clinical software with the Medilink administrative program.

We are located in the pedestrian mall in the city, offering a great location for public transport and easy access to explore the city during lunchbreaks or after work.

The clinic is open 7 days a week, from 7.30am to 7.00pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 5.00pm on weekends.

We have fantastic support staff, who are efficient, friendly and always ready to assist.

There are 2 nurses on at a time during the week and one on Saturdays, all of whom are highly experienced and extremely capable. Our nurses assist with travel vaccinations, childhood immunisations, wound care, ECGs, occupational assessments, audiometry, spirometry, workplace flu vaccinations etc.

Other services available in clinic include pathology, Physiotherapist, Dietitian and GP acupuncturist. Other services available in same building include dentist, chiropractor and pharmacy.
