In addition to the General Practice, this role will also include coverage of the NSW Health Multi Purpose Service including oncall responsibilities for ED, inpatients and aged care as a Visiting Medical Officer. Telehealth support exists within the service for CAT 3-5 presentations occurring out of hours. A very attractive daily rate for Hospital work is incorporated into the overall package.

Location settings to live life your way
Coonamble is quiet rural town with a population of around 3,000 and the gateway to the Macquarie Marshes. The Marshes support a wide variety of rare colonial waterbirds and the lush green of the wider district holds a thriving livestock industry.

The town has a charming main street with huge old pubs, interesting murals, amusing nickname caricatures and a number of Art Deco buildings, a result of a major fire in the town in 1929. It is located 536 km north-west of Sydney via Mudgee.
