Our Practices are in Hobart, located in Sandy Bay and the inner City

Grosvenor and Collins General Practices are seeking a Full or Part Time General Practitioner to join our team of health care professionals. An immediate start date is available.

We are a well-established, private billing family orientated general practice focusing on a patient centric model of care.

Our Practices offer a broad range of services including Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Health, Travel Medicine, Mental Health, General Health and Assessments including Chronic Disease Management. Both of Practices have full time registered nurses onsite and are staffed with experienced administrative staff.

Your Responsibilities would include: -

• Providing Medical Services to the local community and surrounds
• Considering and preparing methodical patient diagnosis’ and treatment plans
• Having minor procedure skills
• Attending training for ongoing CPD in all areas of General Practice
• Managing your appointments to maximise patient service and Practice efficiency
• Promoting disease prevention
• Attending Practice Meetings

Essential Criteria: –

• Unconditional registration with AHPRA
• Vocationally Registered Practitioner
• Be eligible for a Medicare Provider Number
• Demonstrated diagnostic competency and minor surgical skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a professional, committed team in a positive, upbeat environment.
