About us

Aldinga Medical Centre is a modern, fully equipped, spacious surgery with ample private parking located an easy 40 minute drive from Adelaide CBD via the Southern Expressway.

We are a privately owned, well established, AGPAL accredited practice on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.  We have been serving the south for 40 years.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive medical service whilst serving a growing, diverse community.

We are looking for a VR GP who is a team player and welcome your special interest to complement our range of services which currently include acupuncture, skin clinics & excisions, hypnotherapy and ophthalmology.

Being a highly regarded teaching practice we take the time to support registrars to thrive in general practice. Details on how you can be part of the Supervisors team can be explored.

Our dedicated team of support staff includes:

• a nursing team willing to assist GPs with care plans, wound care and immunisations.
• a respectful and hard working front desk reception team engaged to triage and assist with patient needs
• an administrative team who will support and guide you through the minutiae of bureaucracy so you can concentrate on your patients.

Aside from the onsite pharmacy and pathology collection centre our site also has regular visiting allied health providers & specialists.  These include: psychologist, physiotherapist, audiologist, cardiologist, orthopod, dietitian, general surgeon, gastroenterologist, urologist, addiction specialist (including pain management) and mental health services.

The role

• We are looking for a full time AHPRA registered VR GP who is keen to provide quality medical care within a supportive environment and who values work/life balance
