Hunter Valley Care will pay you $150 an hour (above medicare payment) for your dedication to care for our elderly population in Residential Care.

Hunter Valley Care is a family owned and operated Australian company, providing aged care services to our local community since 1981.

We currently operate four Residential Aged Care facilities located around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. These include Fig Tree Point at Toronto, Waterview at Teralba, Amaroo at Charlestown and Bethel at Waratah.

There is a ready made caseload of Residents to make it worthwhile. I am hoping that you may see this opportunity as a pleasant way to spend an afternoon or morning away from the practice.

To enable a time effective clinic that will be cost effective for you, Hunter Valley Care facilities offer the following:-

• Private Clinic room and waiting lounge especially dedicated for Clinic days where residents are brought to you and there is an examination bed to enable easy on the spot physical examinations. We aim to minimise room visits.

• You will be supported by an Registered Nurse to assist you for the entire time while attending the facility for any visits/clinics. The clinical governance team at the facilities are of an exceptionally high standard

• You will have access to Ecase (our electronic documentation program)which has all resident information, including current medications, progress notes and observations for you to review easily when required. 

• You will also have access to Medical Director, MIMS, Hunter Health Pathways and Pathology online.

• We also have a reputation in the community of providing excellence in care with highly skilled, caring and friendly staff.
