The role provides acute and primary health care program services five days a week, including general practice services and preventative health programs. Work in a modern well equipped community health centre with a friendly team of health professionals.

The remuneration package for this position is attractive, and includes paid time for professional development activities and a generous retention bonus including Hospital Salary Packaging.

Rural Medical Practitioner (RMP) RL3.1 – 3.5
Remuneration package range $178,444 – $230,692 (Including salary $155,553 - $201,507)
This includes: RMP Attraction Allowance $38,576, RMP Retention Allowance $38,576, Professional Training Allowance $12,860 RL3.1-3.2 $19,288 RL3.3-3.5, up to $100,000 potential Medicare revenue activity incentive payment , salary sacrifice $9, 010, Professional Development leave 2 weeks, 6 weeks recreation leave and annual leave bonus.
A relocation allowance may also apply. 
The successful applicant will have a Medical degree eligible for full registration with the AHPRA. RMP 3.3 – 3.5 are required to hold a Fellowship of either RACGP, ACRRM or AFPHM together with appropriate rural training or equivalent training and experience.

Senior Rural Medical Practitioner (SRMP) RL4.1 – 4.4
Remuneration package range $240,099 – $267,714 (Including salary range $209,780 – $234,068)
This includes: SRMP Allowance $25,718, RMP Attraction Allowance $38,576, RMP Retention Allowance $38,576, Professional Training Allowance $19,288, salary sacrifice $9, 010, Professional Development leave 2 weeks, 6 weeks recreation leave and annual leave bonus. A relocation allowance may also apply.  

The level of appointment for all vacancies will be determined by qualifications and experience.  Salary and conditions are determined by the Northern Territory Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement, full award details can be accessed on http://www.ocpe.nt.gov.au/working_in_the_ntps/agreements__and__awards/current_enterprise_agreements

Two full time fixed term positions up to 2 years are available one based in Jabiru and one in Gunbalanya.
