The Opportunity
Ochre Health are seeking suitably qualified candidates for the position of General Practitioner at our state-of-the-art health hub located in Kippax (Holt) ACT.
This is a brand new medical centre developed from the complete refurbishment of the old Magpies Football Club, next to Kippax Fair Shopping Centre. The practice has a warm feel, with spacious and comfortable staff spaces, and boasts 12 spacious well equipped consulting rooms that offer natural lighting, a three bed treatment room and a fully equipped procedure room. The facilities also host a range of complementary onsite health services, including pathology and a suite of allied health providers, making it a truly integrated health hub. Clinical governance is provided by one of Canberra’s leading GPs and Skin Cancer experts, Dr Thinus van Rensburg.

Due to its status as Australia’s capital city, Canberra boasts a number of nationally and culturally significant monuments and institutions such as the National Portrait Gallery, Australian Institute of Sport, the University of Canberra, the Royal Australian Mint, the National Gallery, Parliament House, and the Australian War Memorial.
Located to Canberra’s North-West, the suburb of Holt (in the Belconnen district) was gazetted in 1970. Named for Australian Prime Minister Harold Holt, the suburb is a modern, tree lined area with great access to public transport and modern conveniences. The focal point of the community is the Kippax Centre, a major shopping complex servicing the larger Belconnen area with cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and department stores.
