Marketown Health
We are looking experienced GPs to join us as a permanent member of our team. We have an opening for a full time GP and a part-time GP.
About Us
We are a doctor owned, RACGP accredited private billing practice operating from modern, well-equipped premises at Marketown East Shopping Centre, Newcastle.
We have a terrific group of people working with us. Our team consists of 10 doctors and 5 registered nurses supported by a strong administration team. We have allied health services working from our practice and Laverty pathology collection services onsite.
We are a teaching practice dedicated to maintaining a high standard of care for our patients. We encourage our doctors to pursue their own medical interests within the breadth of general practice.
Our doctors work flexible hours to suit their lifestyle and offer a wide range of general practice services including travel medicine, spirometry, audiometry and home visits. We offer commercial medicine services to our corporate clients.
We are only minutes from excellent schools, beautiful beaches, the harbour, the lake and only a short drive to Hunter Valley vineyards. We are located on major bus routes, walking distance to trains and have car parking on site.
We offer access to the gym next door for out team members.
We are open Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
We are a busy practice with an established patient base and are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
About You
- You must have FRACGP/FACCRM and be registered with AHPRA.
- You must be looking for a permanent position with a long term view.
- You must have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to work as part of a high performing team.
- You must want to practice excellent medicine.
