Position: Wollongong Medical Centre is open 7 days a week providing healthcare across a diverse demographics of patients. The role of the Senior Medical Consultant is to support the performance and sustainable growth of Wollongong Medical Centre and help facilitate relationships between doctors in the centre and IPN. The Senior Medical Consultant will lead and manage the medical team; this includes teaching the health professionals of the future.

Area Profile: Formally referred to as "The Gong", is a seaside city located in the Illawarra region of NSW. Wollongong lies on the narrow coastal strip just over an hour south of central Sydney. Wollongong is the third-largest city in NSW after Sydney and Newcastle.
