Due to its popularity and increasing patient demand, a private billing practice is looking to recruit a talented, VR General Practitioner to join their family friendly practice. The successful Doctor will enjoy earning a high percentage of billings, as well as an hourly retainer for the first three months.
The practice is extremely busy, with patient numbers increasing at a rapid rate, meaning the potential to earn a substantial salary quickly is easily achievable. The General Practitioner must be keen to practice alongside experienced staff that ensure the continued friendly family atmosphere at this non-corporate Doctor owned practice.
The practice offers the following services:
- Check-ups
- Family planning, Pap smears
- Pregnancy tests, Ante-natal care
- ECG: heart check
- Spirometry: lung test
- Counselling
- Immunisation: children & adults
- Travel medicine
- Blood tests
- Minor surgery: stitching cuts, removing moles, skin cancers
- Liquid nitrogen ‘freezing’ therapy for sunspots and warts
- Weight management and nutrition
- Skin cancer checks
Consultation Fees:
Standard consultation fee – (0-15 min) $85.00,
Long consultation fee (15-30 min) $130.00.
Fees for additional procedures will be advised at time of consultation.
Bulk-billing is available only to current Veterans’ Affairs, Pensioner and Health Care cardholders. Scheduled childhood immunisations are billed directly to Medicare.

Requirements:
- Must have FRACGP or equivalent
- Must have current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- A genuine desire to provide a high level of patient care
- Friendly bedside manner
