GP – Grafton | $280K – $320K p.a. | RA2/MMM3

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced VR GP to work in the town of Grafton, located in coastal Northern NSW.

This GP Superclinic is supported by dedicated CDM trained nurses, on site pathology, pharmacy and a wide variety of allied health professionals. The practice is also an accredited teaching practice for registrars and medical students from Wollongong University.

The Location

Grafton is a large provincial city situated in the beautiful Clarence Valley on the banks of the Clarence River, just an hour’s drive from the NSW coast. Established in 1851, Grafton is well known for its many elegant, historic Victorian buildings, including Christ Church Cathedral, the infamous Grafton Gaol, and Schaeffer House, which can all be viewed on the Grafton Heritage Trail.

The town is tranquil year-round but bursts with life and colour in spring, as its plentiful and iconic Jacaranda trees bloom with purple flowers and visitors come from all over Australia to attend the famous Grafton Jacaranda Festival (Australia’s oldest annual floral festival), and to wander through the town’s picturesque streets and parks. Grafton is situated close to two national parks full of spectacular ancient rainforests perfect for exploring and experiencing the Australian wilderness. The Clarence River itself regularly draws a crowd as it is the setting for many popular sporting events, including dragon boat and power boat racing, sailing, rowing, and water-skiing.
