Advantage HealthPoint is a boutique, 100% privately-billing General Practice where doctors are generously remunerated.

Advantage HealthPoint is a GP-owned general practice that provides high-quality professional managerial and administrative support, along with a fully equipped modern treatment room, large consulting rooms, and pleasant surrounds that focus on health and well-being.

The clinic is open from Monday-Friday (from 8.30am until 6pm), and closed on Saturdays and public holidays. You are free to set your own hours of work during the week and have your weekends free to explore all that  the region has to offer.

We have a strong focus on further education and training, and assist doctors in accessing funding for their training through RWAV (Rural Workforce Agency Victoria). 

Services fees are 30% (for RACGP fellowed VR GPs and slightly lower for non-VR doctors), and importantly, are calculated based on the private billing of patients rather than the bulk billing of patients. Standard consult fees are currently set at $88.00 ($10 discount for pension / HCC holders), leading to excellent remuneration. As at February 2021, Bairnsdale is a DPA for GPs.

Are you currently on an AHOMPS program, and tired of working after-hours? We can help you transfer to the ROMPS program (currently grandfathered until  30th June 2023), which enables you to bill A1 group Medicare items, meaning all patients you see (during business hours) will be billed $88.00 for their consultation with you, and then receive a $38.60 medicare rebate.

Requirements:

• We are specifically looking for either a non-VR Doctor, with general AHPRA registration and at least 2 years of medical work experience, or a VR General Practitioner.
• We do not unfortunately have any current openings for overseas trained doctors that need to sit the PESCI exam and require AHPRA supervision.
