About the role at Wagga Wagga Medical Centre

The Wagga Wagga Medical Centre requires the services of an experienced GP eligible for VR'd Medicare Rebates, in either a full-time or part-time capacity.

The medical centre is a mixed-billing practice which operates from commercial premises conveniently located in the main street of Wagga Wagga, two doors from the busy Sturt Highway (Edward Street).

The well-equipped medical centre is fully computerised (using Best Practice), and it includes five consulting rooms; a large treatment room facility with nursing staff support; a separate examination room; a large waiting room area; and a Laverty Pathology blood collection room.

We have two positions available, so this opportunity could suite a husband and wife team of doctors. Once these positions are filled, it will expand the practice to five doctors, and to ease the burden of after hours rosters, our medical centre participates in a multi-practice GP after-hours service.

Please note that we have a preference for a GP currently eligible for VR'd Medicare Rebates with previous GP working experience in Australia.

For those applicants still working towards Fellowship of the RACGP, Wagga Wagga now holds DPA Classification and GP Training Supervision may be available for the right candidates.

A tax-effective contractor structure is available (if applicable) with generous above-average income-sharing arrangements negotiated for the right person.

Additional recognition will be given to a GP who is already working in Wagga Wagga and transferring to our Medical Centre.
