Ready for a sea change? The beautiful country/coastal town of Moruya NSW is 320 km south of Sydney, and 175 km to Canberra. The practice is just 12 months old, fully equipped, with one full time GP and a full time nurse, and we are looking for a new, full time GP. The principal has a special interest in skin cancer, but this is not a prerequisite for the position.
There is potential to have a full patient base very quickly, as the books are currently closed for new patients in this high growth area.
A new hospital has been announced for the Eurobodalla Shire to be built in Moruya, and building will commence next year a few minutes drive from the practice, a level 4 hospital offering even more specialists services than currently available at the Moruya Hospital.
The area is well serviced by schools, and is renowned for its natural beauty with beaches, national parks and only a three hour drive to the snow fields.
The succesful applicant will have several years of general practice experience, be kind and caring and will be happy to work fulltime. You would be expected to work four or five days per week and alternate Saturday mornings.
