We have an opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer to join our health service at Kingaroy. You will provide high quality patient centred care to patients in the local community. You will be actively involved in leadership, supervision and training of junior doctors and students, adding value to the health service through continual development of clinical knowledge and skills.

Kingaroy is situated 2 hours and a half from the Sunshine Coast and 3 hours from Brisbane.  Surrounded by low rolling hills and farmlands, Kingaroy is emerging as one of Australia’s new boutique wine regions.

Also known as the ‘Peanut Capital’, Kingaroy hosts Australia’s largest peanut processing plant in the city centre. Peanut silos dominate the town’s skyline and roadside stalls sell the freshest peanuts in every flavour imaginable.

Kingaroy Health Service provides a range of health services including acute inpatient, emergency, maternity, community health, child and family health, theatre, limited rehabilitation and allied health services. Kingaroy Health Service provides health services to the local community.
